Do you struggle with low milk supply or clogged ducts?

I know you’re a busy breastfeeding mama, but this is something you definitely want to read to the end.

Hi, my name is Katie Croslow. I’m a registered nurse, certified health coach, reiki practitioner and mother of five. When I was pregnant with my first child I had big breastfeeding plans. I had read all of the articles and heard the news reports about how “Breast is Best”. But unfortunately, within two weeks my milk dried up due to the medication I was put on.

At the time I was a young mother serving in the US Navy and stationed in Iceland. I was in a foreign land without any friends or family and didn’t have access to amazing resources like Pinterest or any online mother support groups available today.

I was 20 years old at the time and already felt like I was failing as a mother.

Since then I’ve discovered some amazing natural ways you can boost your milk supply, dramatically improve let-downs, ease clogged ducts, help prevent mastitis and even have a happier less fussy infant.

This all starts with something called Galactagogues, these are natural foods and herbs that increase the production of milk or improve the quality of your breastmilk. There’s not just one, but five if taken daily can dramatically increase milk supply and sooth clogged ducts sometimes in less than 24 hours.

In ancient times, breastfeeding was considered a sacred act. One that was shared with the “mother goddess”. It was the Greek’s that discovered the benefits of Barley Grass for breastfeeding. Not only does it have beta-glucan that increases milk supply, but it also naturally increases levels of prolactin, the hormone that regulates milk production.

By taking a shot of cold-pressed barley grass juice first thing in the morning, you would have ample milk flow the rest of the day. This isn’t very practical for most mothers, but I have a simple solution I’ll share in a moment.

Next is Sunflower Lecithin. Not only is this an all-natural, non-GMO and soy free alternative, it is a potent source of phosphatidylcholine, which is the precursor to the brain food choline. In fact, approximately 30% of your brain is made up of lecithin.

There is also some anecdotal evidence that by increasing your natural choline levels you boost your child’s brain development.

Sunflower Lecithin also has a big impact on breastfeeding mothers. Not only does it increase your milk supply, but it helps to loosen existing clogs and make your milk flow a lot easier.

If you’ve ever dealt with a fussy or colicky baby, then you know how frustrating this can be.

This is where natural plant-based digestive enzymes can help. Fruits like Papaya, Pineapple and Kiwi have natural enzymes that help breakdown food so that it’s easier to digest. Without these enzymes undigested food particles can lead to inflammation and allergic reactions.

These reactions can then affect your breast milk, upsetting your infant's stomach, causing them to be fussy. Wouldn’t you be if your stomach was upset?

Next is Oat Bran, as it’s one of the best foods for boosting milk supply. Similar to Barley Grass, it contains beta-glucan which stimulates the production of prolactin. This in turn, leads to ramping up of your body’s milk supply.

This is why I found it’s best to start your day with a bowl of oatmeal and a glass of greens.

One of the big challenges is when a milk duct gets clogged, not only is it extremely painful, but it can also be really dangerous if left untreated.

Here are a couple things that I found that can help.

First, taking Sunflower Lecithin daily will help keep your milk ducts from clogging in the first place. But if it does get clogged this spice and herb can be helpful in preventing an infection. They are Turmeric and Spearmint Leaf Extract.

Turmeric for its anti-inflammatory properties and spearmint because it prevents fungal buildup. These two combined can help prevent an environment that would lead to an infection.

After years of working as a nurse and health coach, I realized that getting all of these milk enhancing ingredients in your diet daily is really important, but really hard for a new mother. As new mother’s, we already have so much we’re trying to do.

Our bodies have just been put through a massive transformation and we’re healing. Plus, our emotions are all over the place as we’re trying to take care of our new little one.

Shopping for all these different ingredients and taking an extra 6-12 large pills everyday is just a little unrealistic.

This is why I started Daily Dose and developed our Lactation Superfood Drink. Not only does it have all of the ingredients I mentioned above, but it also doesn’t have all the ingredients you wouldn’t want for yourself or baby. Plus, it tastes amazing!

Now you can simply add a scoop to a glass first thing in the morning, add water and you’ve just guaranteed that your milk supply and your baby are off to a great start for the day.

Our Lactation Superfood Drink, is the only greens powder specifically formulated with the ingredients needed to aid a woman’s body from pre-conception through breastfeeding.

Most Greens powders are designed to do everything, and have lower quality or dangerous ingredients that would be totally inappropriate for breastfeeding mothers.

Daily Dose isn’t like most supplement companies, we’re more like an Etsy shop for superfoods.

We’re not the biggest or the most well funded, but when you message us most likely you’ll be talking to myself, my husband or one of my kids.

If you’re struggling with your milk supply, we’d love if you'd give us a try.

If for any reason you aren’t happy with the product, we'll issue you a full refund.

But do me a favor once your milk supply has doubled or tripled, send me a short message or video letting me know! I love hearing from my customers and how Daily Dose has helped them and their families.

Your friend,
