How are your ingredients sourced?
We really believe that the best nutrition comes from freshly harvested plants, fruits and vegetables. Our mission is really very simple. Protect the nutrients from harvest to delivery. That's why we source all our ingredients from the best farms on the planet. All the ingredients are then brought together and packaged up for you in the United States.
Every raw ingredient supplier must pass our strict quality standards - most don't make it. Then, once we get them, every single ingredient is subjected to a battery of tests (with sciencey sounding names like infrared spectro-something-or-other) by smart people in lab coats.
Where is it made?
Daily Dose is manufactured in a state-of-the-art, pharmaceutical-grade facility in New York. As far as sourcing goes, our 20 superfoods grow in various climates around the world, but we always take special care to source them from sustainable farms with organic growing practices whenever possible.
Does it contain caffeine?
Nope! We’re 100% caffeine free. We know that even small amounts of caffeine can accumulate and overstimulate the nervous system.
We want you to experience the rush of natural energy that comes from vitamins, minerals and protective enzymes.
Does it have soy?
Nope! There are no soy ingredients in Daily Dose.
Is it FDA Approved?
Dietary supplements, in general, are not FDA-approved. But our product is manufactured in an FDA-approved, state-of-the-art, pharmaceutical-grade facility that is certified cGMP and registered by NSF and/or NPA. We also perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on each lot produced to ensure the quality and safety of our products before they’re approved for market.
Is it safe for kids?
Many parents make Daily Dose for their little ones, however, we always suggest reviewing the nutrition label and ingredient list with your pediatrician first.
Keep in mind, the percentage daily value of nutrients listed on our nutrition label corresponds to the recommended intake levels for adults, not kids. Your pediatrician will be able to guide you on appropriate nutrient intake for your child, and where those nutrients should come from.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
Possibly. However, pregnant women need on average 300 extra calories per day, plus higher levels of certain vitamins and minerals, so you’ll want to check with your doctor first. To be safe, send them our nutrition label and ingredient list to review.
If your doctor gives you the greenlight to consume Daily Dose, but you need more calories, then try out some of our recipes!
Is it diabetes-friendly?
Each serving of Daily Dose contains less than 1 grams of sugar and is sweetened with natural stevia leaves, which we’ve chosen specifically because it’s low glycemic—meaning it’s less likely to impact blood glucose (a.k.a. blood sugar) levels.
But keep in mind that the appropriate diabetes-friendly diet can vary. So first, check the Daily Dose nutrition label to see if it meets your individual needs. If you’re unsure, check with your doctor.
What’s the source of sugar?
Each serving of Daily Dose Greens contains less than 1 gram of sugar. Our sweet taste comes from a leaf called stevia. The sugar is from the small amount of fruit for the plant-based digestive enzymes.
